It's the end of May and here in Texas the begining of summer. The trees are pretty and full. The sun bright. The days long and hot. The lakes soon will be crowded and the pools packed as people try to cool off and beat the heat. But everyone agrees theres something special about summer time. The smell of chlorine, the way the air smells, the way lemonaide tastes. Summer makes a stroll in the park completely different, it energizes the night, it electrifies the emotions. There is something to be said about summer and summer love. The dates are more intense. The feelings are more overwhelming. Life seems to be even more wide open and full of opprotunities in the summer time. Here's to summer. (Aside from Christmas) My most favorite magical time of year!
The other day I was thinking about this summer. My plans, my hopes, my love, and I came up with an idea. A super magical summery idea... 10 Dates of Summer. There are things and datees and specialness that you can only do in summer. There are feelings and emotions that you only expierence in summer. So I have asked someone(s) to help me fullfill this blogging expierement of mine. I haven't finished my list of summer dates yet and need ideas. SO, if you have any please let me know. I want this journey of mine to be shared. I want to inspire someone to try new things, to take a journey of their own. Find something that is magical to you, a time, a day, a place, a person, and make your own magic.
Hopefully, to get the 10 dates in this will be a weekly blog. Please steal my ideas and makes some memories. My uncle, who isn't expected to be around much longer, told me once "Take more pictures. Make more memories." So, this summer is dedicated partly to my Uncle James and his inspiration to make more memories!
